I initially trained with a large driving school but found that I was not getting the one on one time that I needed. I started looking for an independent trainer, in my area, who could spend time with me and take an interest in how I did. Working with Michaela has been fantastic. She is professional, determined, motivated and made sure I was doing everything I needed to in order to pass (even homework!). And I did, first time on my part 2 & 3!

If you are a learner you should be queuing up as she is in the top 10% of driving instructors in my opinion.

I was first introduced to Michaela when I started my PDI training with BSM, it probably goes without saying that this was both a very exciting and scary time; however, with the help and support readily given by Michaela I was encouraged and moulded into a driving instructor.

Michaela not only helped me with all the necessary elements of the course making them fun and interesting, but also went far beyond anything you would expect of a normal training course. She took me under her wing so to speak and through her kindness, understanding and patience helped me to achieve my goal, which at times I thought I would never reach. Michaela always made me and all the other pupils under her charge feel like her number 1 priority and imparted not only her knowledge and skills as an excellent instructor upon us but also left an everlasting impression upon our lives.

Even after passing my part 3 exam Michaela continued to give me the support and encouragement I needed to go on to start my own successful driving school, which I have been running for nearly 2 years now.

Michaela is an extremely talented and skilled instructor and has become a life long friend.

If you're thinking of learning to become a Driving Instructor then I can't think of anyone better to teach you than Michaela. In the past 2 years I've come across more than my fair share of Tutors in North Manchester and North Wales and no-one else has shown the natural enthusiam, passion for passing on her skills, knowledge (of any and all subjects relating to learning, both as an Instructor and Tutor), understanding of techniques and, most importantly, psychology skills required to kick the brain into gear that has been stagnating for God knows how long!

Michaela truly loves her job and gives her all in tutoring her students. She's an absolute pleasure to spend time with and turns hard work into an enjoyable past-time. Her passion and enthusiasm is infectious and learning becomes an absolute joy. She'll have your brain flexing muscles you didn't realise it had and in no time you'll start to see clearly that, no matter how long you've had a clean licence for, you were driving blind until Michaela came into your life and wiped your lenses clean with her knowledge and skills. Not only will she encourage you to learn how to teach new drivers but with that teaching she re-teaches you how to see what you've forgotten to look for. Yes, we all become complacent the older we get and the more years we drive. Life on the road can be a very dangerous place these days, but with Michaela's teachings your driving will make the roads a much safer place for yourself, those you teach and the other road users around you.

Having had other Tutors to compare Michaela to and having been in contact with other Trainee Instructors I know for a fact that every other one I've come into contact with has only been in it for the money. Michaela is the rare breed who sees her work as her vocation and I highly recommend her above any and all others!!!

Just to let you know that today I passed the part three instructor ability test.
As you know I had failed this prior to teaming up with your good self. Basically my other trainers had not taught me what was necessary, and as such, I had gone in for the test completely unprepared and totally unready. Effectively I was wasting my time and money with the earlier trainers.

Michaela has the knack of being able to ensure that her knowledge conveyance is fully understood. If not, she’ll explain it in a different format. She never gives up until understanding takes place. She has shown me what is required for each PST sheet, what the examiners are looking for, and given me the confidence I needed.
However since teaming up with you, I developed a self belief and new found confidence, purely due to your input. It is true to say that without your training and guidance I would never have passed this test.

Thanks is such a small word which can mean a lot, it your case thanks alone does not convey my gratitude for the effort and time which you took to get me ready.
It is without any reservation that I totally recommend Michaela to anybody embarking on this path.

Not so long ago, I decided that a change of career was a good idea. I went through a big company and was allocated Michaela as my trainer while I went through the driving instructor program. I thought it would take a year or so. I WAS WRONG. Mainly, I was wrong because I didn`t expect the single minded determination that Michaela brought with her, which does tend to rub off on the people she is instructing so the whole process moves along faster (and costs less!!!!!!!!).At present I am a few weeks away from sitting my final exam to become an instructor and I only got here so fast because of Michaela’s teaching methods and professionalism. Without wanting to sound too cheesy, I think I can say hand on heart that Michaela changed my life.

Michaela really put me at ease from the moment I first met her. This was whilst I was attending the induction for my ADI part one. I admired the air of confidence around her and her ‘I want to be the best at what I do’ approach.

I hoped that she was going to be my BSM field trainer for part 2 and thankfully she was.

She has the kind of demeanour which instantly calms nerves whilst maintaining the kind of steady discipline necessary to guide a nervous experienced driver through the daunting task ahead of training to be a driving instructor.

I was impressed with her efficiency and organisational skills. She was one step ahead of you & always did what she said she would do. Each lesson was well prepared &structured; I always knew what was expected of me and I was made to feel confident in my own ability.

Michaela has been a great inspiration to me. She is definitely a person that I aspire to be like.

I get the impression that she reaches for the sky and I feel that she would usually get there through sheer hard work and determination.

I just want to say that it is very upsetting for me to find out that you are leaving. Since I have got in touch with you through my training I have enjoyed my every time and every part of it even I have been making some stupid little mistakes but you were always there for me to rectify them. Your teaching method and giving explanation was brilliant.

It might be a bit difficult for me to start with new trainer so therefore I hope you change your mind and stay here and give us more training until we need it but for know I just like to say that wish you very best with opening of your own driving school and hope you carry on with your great work in surrey and help lots of new people to qualify and start their new career as a driving instructor.

Recently trained to become an ADI with Michaela.I qualified in January 2008 and took 9 months from starting my training.

I found Michaela very knowledgable and professional with a good sense of humour which is essential when teaching.

The delivery and structure of the lessons was very well presented and informative I always felt like I had learnt something new at the end of each session.
